Warriors and armours

The thing is, we are all cogs and wheels in the mechanisms of our routines, hesitations and higher callings alike. We give in beyond capacity, we expect manifold in return. We somehow lose track of the little things, giving away so much even without watering our own seeds.

Then the complaints and comparisons come in, the quests for validations from temporariness, hunting for answers, binding ourselves to our unwanted vulnerabilities. We wear armours of iron and steel with wits fuelled by delusion, denial and pride and yet, when attacked, crumble easier than lego. Why, I wonder. I wonder, why!

Armours on, swords unsheathed. Battle cries sinking into an echo. Victories and defeats the aftermath in balance.

I wonder if the same can be said about the way I peep into my hesitations;

Going in headstrong is the key sometimes.

So much curls around the mind, so much fills the insides to the brim, begging to pour out when all we can do is just let the whole lot of it be where it is meant to be.

Let the past bury itself, let the superficial be the way it is, let the mouths define so much, let the tragedies shape outcomes of all that has been broom-ed under the carpet. Let the dust decorate the air we breathe, we all do, let us chose on our own doing only to realise we could just be free-spirited, loving, liberated enough to shred the layers, labels and losses alike and for one moment, turn either to the sky or to the silences within, listen to them hum tunes of peace, tranquility and strength alike and for one moment, set it all free and dance to an alternate ‘wish’ we pray for called life;

All we have is now, and the ability to strengthen the weaknesses, kill the ego, swallow the pride and for one, choose our own becoming.

We are warriors, and all battles need not be won with force. Patience, resilience, patience and perseverance work their own charm.
