Don’t come around this time, don’t settle for less.

You have had enough of holding back, enough of pursing your lips, numbing your voice for long enough.

Don’t come around this time, don’t settle for less.

Find the courage within, it still breathes down those layers you tuck yourself and cry yourself to the night, every single night even if it is in silence, in those smiles and pretences you flaunt so seamlessly.

Don’t come around this time, don’t give in to older habits of just shushing yourself, don’t give in to older patterns of doubting, destroying and burying yourself when now is time for you to love yourself like there is no tomorrow.

We let so much go unknowingly and knowingly that we blind ourselves to all that we are supposed to have, all that is ours to deserve, cherish and celebrate.

Don’t come around this time. Don’t settle for less, you owe yourself an explanation, yes you have the right to ask all the questions, you are rightful to seek closures and sometimes just find them in doing what you are for a better today and tomorrow, the same.

Don’t come around this time, you have beaten yourself up enough, you have stayed mum for longer than needed, you know it deep down yourself.

Listen to the voice, the shudders, the fears now demand a revolt, demand a comeback.

There is so much to be done, there is time, tide and season alike.

Rise, dear one, rise and make things happen.

You are rightful of all you seek, yearn and ache for, you are rightful of all you want from a better life, better living and thinking patterns alike.

Rise, the tide is yours.
